American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors Course
In this course you will be trained to instruct American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety programs by developing your understanding of how to use course materials, how to conduct training sessions, and how to evaluate participants’ progress. For information call 863-7865.
Prerequisites:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must have Fundamentals of Instructor Training certificate in the last 12 months or Health and Safety Services Instructor authorization.
Swimming Skills: Front Crawl , Back Crawl, Breaststroke, Butterfly (minimally), treading water, Elementary Backstroke, Sidestroke, and back floating.
